3000

What does this clown, these clowns, this turkey and the doughy pantload have in common?
They ignored this.

On Thursday, 28 December 2006, Spc. Dustin R. Donica, 22, of Spring, Texas, became the 3,000th confirmed US military member killed under George W Bush's regime and adventure in Iraq.

The chickenhawks noted in the opening paragraph cheerled for Bush without noticing the bodies, Iraqi, American, British....

I know. It's just a number. It also means the US military has lost the same number of people it takes to make up a light brigade. It's the same number of troops the US has in Bosnia on peacekeeping duties. It's 3000 shattered families.

Not that that should matter to any of the the para-pundits listed in the opening paragraph. They don't know anyone who's been killed in Iraq, and if anyone tries to tell them about it, they plug their ears.
