Hardeep Puri was asked to remove his turban at airport security, Indian media report
THE BEEB has a delightful account on how the US insists on groping turbans worn by Indian diplomats who have diplomatic immunity to that kind of thing. This, after subjecting the Indian ambassador to a search earlier this year. And the war in FUBAR province continues . . .

I dunno. I wouldn't mind VIPeople being subjected to the usual behaviour of these regs and the darned helpful people applying them. Especially brown people.
Maybe there will finally be some pushback against them.
ahahahah, I crack me up. But really, why would it be 'better' to have one easy rule for 'important' people and a spread eagle against the wall different one for the unwashed masses? Doesn't that just boil down to open classism?
I suppose Ms Geurgis could have benefited by "Don't you know who I am!?" causing the obsequious tugging of forelocks.
I, too, am concerned about the dignity of Ministers of the Crown, particularly when the Minister is worried that her husband might say it was her coke. Cuz I know she wasn't worried that the airport searchers could have found any coke on her.
