The Irishman is Irish folksinger Denis Ryan (you remember Ryan's Fancy, right), long a resident of Halifax; the interviewer is Tony Quinn, a Halifax singer-comedian, who does not work for the "Financial News". The street, for those who care, is Dresden Row, just off Halifax's main upscale shopping street, Spring Garden Road.

Whoever it is and I cannot question your info AH, the sources of the shite we find ourselves in are exactly who he blames.
And they are still in there jobs. That is the scary thing.
I'm going post this on mine cos I think he is right and it does deserve as big an audience as possible.
