Yesterday 3 more US Marines died in Iraq, bringing October's running tally to 37, on this the 10th day of the month. Yahoo News has the Reuters story. Reuters itself carries the story that nearly 650 civilian contractors have been killed in Iraq.
I haven't seen either story on MSNBC.com or the Washington Post website or
anywhere else I've looked.
US military deaths appear to have ceased to be a newsworthy event.
How long will it take for Canadian news sources to tire of reporting the deaths of Canadian military personnel in Afghanistan?
It will happen at some point.
