Armed cowards in masks

Reading Harebell's excellent take on my post about Blake's Balaclava law, I thought I might juxtapose a few images.

The top is a riot cop at the G20 last year in Toronto. The second one is an Ulster Defence Force gunman, and the last is his opposite number in the Irish Republican Army.

What these three individuals have in common is a demonstrated willingness to hide their identities like cowards while committing acts of violence against unarmed civilians. Odd that we only label the last two thugs and terrorists.

Boris — you need glasses, dude.

See the top picture? It's a gas mask for operating in a tear-gas atmosphere. He's got to wear it, it's part of his kit and training in that situation.

The other 2 pictures are of chicken-shit posers who don't have the balls to be open about their defiance. Like a male bomber in a Burkha. Macho power with AK-47!

You might be impressed with them, but I'm not, and I'd sure like to get either of 'em in the cross-hairs of my .25-06 — those Nosler boat-tails work so wonderfully well past 500 yds; great wind stability.

Ed, I know what a gasmask looks like, however my point about hidden faces and thuggery doesn't change. I've worn those masks and experienced enough CS gas to actually start to like the stuff.

I resent suggestion that I "might be impressed with them." You might want to reread the last part of my text.

Another thing you might not have noticed is that the 1st guy has no identifying marks on him. That isn't part of his kit and training in that situation is it?

The modern cop masks up early and removes their tags just because they know they will be committing a crime.

As with UC Davis and many recent protests they are chicken-shit cowards who hide behind the same law that they break with impunity.

Boris identifies them all as cowards and lawbreakers and that they are.

The guy in the top picture HAS to wear the tear gas mask for when they gas peaceful protesters.

SWAT and riot cops often wear balaclavas, not just gas masks, to avoid being identified.
Police who remove their ID tags and badges (to hid the number) should be treated by demonstrators AND police officials as thugs that they are.
