Spaced out Sundays - early edition

This is an early Spaced Out Sunday to alert you to the need to make sure your lawn chair is in good operating condition. You’re going to need it if you plan on watching the annual Perseid meteor shower. The show begins on Saturday, peaks on Sunday night and closes down on Tuesday morning. Viewing conditions should be good – the shower coincides with a new moon, providing a nice dark background to watch the spectacle. It’s expected that on Sunday night (and in the early hours of Monday morning) it may be possible to see as many as 100 meteors per hour. And for added viewing pleasure, Mars will be visible in the eastern sky.

I got the peanuts ready...who's bringing the beer?
