Hurricane Dean misses the Caymans. Latest computer models tracks.

Hurricane Dean is now approaching the Yucatan having missed the Cayman Islands by almost 100 miles. Its energy is increasing as it arrives over some of the warmest waters on its path. It is expected to make landfall 100 miles south of Cozumel which should relieve the major tourist areas of the worst effects. Dean is expected to retain hurricane status after crossing the Yucatan and perhaps increase again as it crosses the Gulf of Mexico.
