An Homage to The Atlantic and James Fallows

In January of 2004 The Atlantic's national correspondent, James Fallows, wrote one of the most insightful and informative articles I've yet found about the US occupation of Iraq. "Blind Into Baghdad" includes a quite extensive look into the "Future of Iraq Project" and the failures that resulted from it's recommendations being ignored.

This month Mr. Fallows has published an article entitled "The Nuclear Power Beside Iraq". In it he refers to the war game that The Atlantic sponsored in 2004 about the subject of Iran and it's nuclear capabilities and true to form there's a link provided to the 2004 article that resulted from that game.

Also included this month is a fascinating interactive look back to April of 1980 and the Carter administration's bungled attempt to rescue the hostages being held by students in Tehran.
