A Gatineau, Que., man is demanding an apology from police after his home was raided at gunpoint Thursday.
Oliver MacQuat said around 7:30 p.m. Thursday a team of armed police officers entered his rural home on Montée Paiement with guns drawn, on the assumption they were busting a marijuana grow-op.
Thankfully, it wasn't the RCMP, they would have tasered him and the skunk, and the skunk would've gone ballistic, if they missed it.

"MacQuat said police confused the smell of marijuana with the scent of a skunk that lives beneath the front of his home."
If it weren"t for the drawn guns and the fact that this is symptomatic of police run amok, this would be hilarious. Obviously some local Barney Fife overheard something in the donut hole about MacQuat having skunk under his porch and decided to call out the tactical squad. Whoops.
Tune in next week when the same squarehead overhears some hippie talking about having "maryjane and coke" in his apartment, only to have the SWAT team kick in the door and find the young man drinking cola with his great aunt Mary Jane.
