The Return of the Muldoon.

Lyin' Brian emerges from under his rock to smarmily declare that an underfunded, over-stretched, demoralized armed forces, a draconian Stalinist security bill that will have Canadians reporting on their fellow citizens for not revering Don Cherry enough and the highest federal debt that Canada has ever seen are the advantages Harper carries into the next election.

Well, not in those exact words but that's what it comes down to.

Go somewhere and expire Brian. Preferably alone.

I wonder what would happen if we started reporting Harper party politicians to CSIS for treasonous behaviour. Have to be careful not to be merely vexatious cause that would be grounds for being disappeared. Would need chapter and verse on the law and their actions...

Or reporting fictitious people via anonymous snail mail. Rubber gloves and no handwriting and old typewriters and so on...

Or reporting members of the local police/RCMP for threatening behaviour...

Turning shit into gold is going to become a cottage industry again.

Mulroney's support for Harper is strange,Dana, given that Harper has given Mulroney the cold shoulder for a long time now.

it may not be that lying bryan is giving stevie any support. he may simply be stating his opinion on how stevie may well win the next election.

we still have not seen the back end of stevie. we still haven't had the election. there is nothing to prevent steve from calling parliament back to session, with drawing the fixed election date and just waiting for the 5 yrs to go by. with his new bill C-51 in place, hell he could have a lot of us arrested.

Of course we could get creative and remind Canadians of Steve's comment regarding an inquiry into the murder of 1,200 First Nations women. Said it wasn't on his radar. Well now the report on residential schools is out. looks like there are words like genocide. the death toll is in the thousands. No body cared while it was going on.

WE are still bringing people charged with crimes against humanity to trial, 70 yrs. after the fact. When will Canada's trials begin. People need to seriously look at this and remember the P.M. didn't have the murder of over a thousand women on his radar. Didn't do Anything to find out who did it. So here we have several hundred murderers walking around free and clear and its not on the P.M.'s radar. In my opinion, the P.M. is a terrorist. Having that many murderers walking around free and clear with no one looking for them. Terrifying.

If Lyin Brian had an honest opinion he would keep it under lock and key.

@e.a.f.: The fixed election date law doesn't modify the powers of the GG to dissolve parliament, nor does it create any obligation for the PM to request the GG dissolve parliament at a specific date.

In fact, the only thing that piece of window dressing does is tell Elections Canada to set up and hold polling on a specific date ...

Harper can quietly ignore the October date with impunity.
