Americans are asking, why do they hate us? They hate what we see right here in this chamber -- a democratically elected government. Their leaders are self-appointed. They hate our freedoms -- our freedom of religion, our freedom of speech, our freedom to vote and assemble and disagree with each other.

So, instead of pushing those freedoms to the front of the field of view, better to crush them and give the "terrorists" nothing to hate. Right?
Can Americans really be said to have rights any longer? When you can be arrested for having an opinion and saying it out loud, how is that an actual democracy?
