No End In Sight

If you think this little bit of information demonstrates how badly the Bush administration has screwed the pooch in Iraq, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Director, writer and producer Charles Ferguson has created a documentary which steps aside from what has now become standard fare. For the most part, he ignores the wrongness and the lies which were employed to justify the initial invasion of Iraq and focuses on the incompetence, the irresponsibility, the arrogance and the atrocious behaviour of administration officials charged with securing the peace and regenerating Iraq after a devastating military onslaught.



If you think the title refers to the situation as viewed by Iraqis you are only partially correct. The title speaks to the condition of the United States of America and a condition which has become permanent. While the US took decades to recover from the debacle of Viet Nam, there is no recovery from the damage done by Iraq. The Bush administration has laid waste to America's reputation, probably forever.
