Well, just short of two years after applying to become a permanent resident of Canada, he, his partner and the four-legged family member have been issued all the appropriate documents to move in and stay... forever.

Congratulations, W.E.B. and drf! Welcome to Lotus Land.

I do have a question though. What are you going to name your blog once you've got a permanent parking spot in the West End?
