It's a Conservative trick!

I will readily admit, they got me. The Harper Conservatives reeled me in.

I could not imagine that any single group of politicians could actually be this stupid. The fact that policy was not being developed but was instead being made up second by second during Question Period in the House seemed incomprehensible.

Then I realized what it actually is. It's a Conservative trick.

Change your story every day, or better yet, a couple of times a day. Within a week, the entire House of Commons will be a chamber of serene peacefulness.

The opposition will be immobilized and quiet as they sit in stunned silence.

That, or the Conservatives really are that stupid.
