The NY Times is reporting that the Karzai government in Kabul is moving to get the independent Afghani media under control.
Apparently "The government does not want to see and hear about its corruption and weaknesses on the media”.
I'll leave it to you to determine whether that statement came from Kabul or from Ottawa.
