Sexual harassment - The School Play

A young fellow in Brockton Massachusetts has just discovered that "zero tolerance" means zero tolerance.

However, the lad is only 6 years old.

Downey Elementary School suspended the 1st grader for three days after he allegedly touched a girl with whom he was playing at the time.

The boy's mother, Berthena Dorinvil, said she "screamed" about last week's suspension from Downey Elementary School, and added her son doesn't know what sexual harassment is.
Y'know, I don't have any clear memories of my 6th year of life. I do, however recall thinking girls were pretty "yucky" back then. This is political correctness gone right off the scale. Given that a six-year-old has not reached puberty, probably has no concept of sex and may simply need a "sandbox etiquette" adjustment, how in hell can he be accused of sexual harassment when he doesn't know what sex is?

Dorinvil said the school principal, Diane Gosselin, called her to pick up her son Jan. 30. She said her son asked the principal if the police were going to come get him.
The school declined comments, citing the child's age. Really? But, the principal is presumably an adult and that's what this is really all about.

It looks like Downey Elementary School needs to review their curriculum.
