Size Does Matter . . . .
According to Antonia, anyhow:
The rest of the story is here.
In today's economy and faltering financial situation, one has to wonder if sexual frustration isn't running rampant.
Time to start workin' on that money muscle, boys and girls* . . . .
* No information provided on same-sex partners.
Scientists have found that the pleasure women get from making love is directly linked to the size of their partner’s bank balance.
They found that the wealthier a man is, the more frequently his partner has orgasms.*
“Women’s orgasm frequency increases with the income of their partner,” said Dr Thomas Pollet, the Newcastle University psychologist behind the research.

With all the credibility of a ...

Well, you name it. Somehow, taking the advice of a Catholic bishop on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases doesn't rank much higher than asking a Golden Retriever how to prevent shedding.
Alberta's Catholic bishops are warning parents to think twice about letting their daughters be vaccinated against a cancer-causing, sexually transmitted virus. That's right. And it might do well for these supposed celibates to keep their mouths as shut as their minds when it comes to the sex lives of others and the prevention of disease. But the bishops, in a joint statement issued Monday, stop well short of barring Catholic schools in Alberta from administering the vaccine, and acknowledge that parents are the "primary decision-makers" when it comes to their children's health.
The bishops said the HPV vaccine has raised questions about whether it sends a message to girls that casual sex is acceptable.I'll give you good odds that if you conducted an honest survey of Catholics in Canada and the US, and received honest answers, that you'd find that "reservation for marriage" was regularly preempted in wholesale numbers."Catholic teaching is that sexuality is a God-given gift that should be reserved for marriage," the bishops wrote.
And let's see what else the Roman Catholic clergy is up to. Oh yeah. They're a real prize lot alright.
(And, yes, we're all about looking things up for others. Google search: 3 seconds. Knowing another blogger is on it: 2 seconds. Adding Catholic hypocrisy: timeless.)

The Sexy Path to Good Health
By Sue Katz, Consenting Adult - Posted on May 9, 2008There's been wide coverage of a study showing that man-masturbation prevents prostate cancer. But before you take your hotdog in hand (if you happen to be of the schlong persuasion), let's expand the conversation and declare: hot sex is good for humans.
Heart
There, I've said it. But looking around, I'm certainly not the only one saying it. In fact, the bigwigs at Forbes Magazine -- premiere reading for the wealthy and their admirers -- devoted pages and pages to the benefits of sex. Among other treats, they relate that in a 2001 study at Queen's University (Belfast), higher rates of bonking produced half the risk of heart attack and stroke.

PainLots of studies indicate that the various hormones connected with arousal and excitement -- so intoxicating that people are now said to become "addicted" to sex -- are fabulous pain relievers. Migraines? Arthritis? Why, just get laid. Dr. Beverly Whipple from Rutgers University says that even whiplash can be relieved by the oxytocin surge -- leading to the release of morphine-like endorphins -- that people often experience during serious groping.
_______________
Sniffles
A study from Pennsylvania's Wilkes University, "claims that individuals who have sex once or twice a week show 30% higher levels of an antibody called immunoglobulin A, which is known to boost the immune system." In short, no more sniffles and sneezes for those who are busy wearing out the sheets. Or the kitchen tabletop. Or the back seat of a Studebaker.
What are you still doing here??
Get that workout goin' . . . .

A billion dollars later...

And your teens are still having sex. If you hide the facts from them regarding pregnancy and HIV/AIDS prevention they'll develop their own. (Emphasis mine)
Florida teens who believe drinking a cap of bleach will prevent HIV and a shot of Mountain Dew will stop pregnancy have prompted lawmakers to push for an overhaul of sex education in the state. Another myth is that Florida teens also believe that smoking marijuana will prevent a person from getting pregnant. State lawmakers said the myths are spreading because of Florida's abstinence-only sex education. They are proposing a bill that would require a more comprehensive approach, the report said.It would still require teaching abstinence but students would also learn about condoms and other methods of birth control and disease prevention. The bill just passed its first vote in a committee.Guess what? Your teens are having sex. Get used to it.
Yes, the good old Bush administration. Seldom right and wrong again. No child left behind, except for the ones maimed from drinking bleach and the ones with the Mountain Dew babies. Courtesy of a bunch of religious, moralizing freaks who can't deal with reality.
LuLu nicely shoves it in the face of one of them.
Then again, Bush's abstinence only program wasn't really about teens, was it? It was about something much more common: money.
Sexually curious teens are nothing more than an expanding heap of collateral damage in Bush's dogmatic, religious, authoritarian lark.

The Bush administration reaches into the septic tank and pulls out another turd
You probably don't know Susan Orr. You probably don't care that the Bush administration just named her acting deputy assistant secretary for population affairs in the US Department of Health and Human Services.
In short, she's responsible for U.S. contraception programs.
So, with that knowledge, take a read of this:
Really, it must take a monumental effort to go to such lengths to prove to the world how stupid an entire administration can be. They must seriously have to work at it.
In short, she's responsible for U.S. contraception programs.
So, with that knowledge, take a read of this:
The Department of Health and Human Services appointed Susan Orr — who has spoken out against contraception — to a post responsible for U.S. contraception programs.Orr is replacing another Bush favourite.
Orr, who will be acting deputy assistant secretary for population affairs, has been directing child welfare programs in another branch of HHS. Prior to joining the Bush administration, Orr was senior director for marriage and family at the Family Research Council, a conservative group that favors abstinence-only education and opposes federal money for contraception.
In 2001, she was quoted in the Washington Post favoring a Bush administration plan to drop a requirement that health insurance plans for federal employees cover a broad range of birth control.
“We’re quite pleased because fertility is not a disease,” she said at the time. “It’s not a medical necessity that you have it.”
The administration’s last pick for that office drew similar fire. Eric Keroack was criticized by family planning advocates who objected to his earlier work as medical director of a Christian pregnancy counseling organization that opposed distribution of contraceptives. He resigned in March to deal with an allegation by the Massachusetts Medicaid program against his private practice.I know... stunning, isn't it?
Really, it must take a monumental effort to go to such lengths to prove to the world how stupid an entire administration can be. They must seriously have to work at it.

Have you ever had a doughnut this good?

Look at this picture. It's a screen capture from a little newscast from WAGT in Augusta, Georgia.
Now go to Shakespeares Sister and read it. Shakes also has the clip.
Personally, I'll never have a doughnut quite that good.
Helluva campaign though. Makes this look stupid where all they offer is to give it to you your way.
