On this day in 1977, Fleetwood Mac's lead guitarist Peter Green was committed to a psychiatric facility for firing a handgun at courier delivering him a royalty cheque.

Ten years later, F Mac's Christine McVie wrote a song which she claimed was not about any of her past relationships. And if you think I even knew any of that until ten minutes ago, I have two bridges in Halifax for sale.
