amazing that there are so many such tunes that they constitute an entire subgenre of music. Was there a songwriter in the UK in the 80s who didn't write one?
I am also heartened to learn that despite the glowing bullshit laden tributes being written in every newspaper in the english speaking world about how Thatcher made Britain great again etc etc, that the number one song on the charts in the UK this week is "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead"
It's remarkable that a former head of government, so many years removed from power, can spark such vehement rejoicing at her death. She had more in common with Pinochet than many of us had imagined.
Always one of my favourite anti-Thatcher tunes.
