It's always a long, grueling struggle for Greens to become entrenched and nowhere will that be plainer than in the United States.
The inescapable fact, however, is that the very circumstances that give rise to the Greens aren't being addressed by the establishment parties, ensuring the Greens can only grow, however slowly.
For one minute, I thought that was about Canada. Sounded like the same crap, that is going on in Canada.
Both Canada and the U.S. are cesspools of corruption. Harper is more corrupt than Obama, or so it seems to me.
Our Democracy is vanishing. Our Civil rights and Liberties are being taken away from us. Our Freedom of Speech is under attack. Robo-call election fraud, is typical of American elections. We now have the same in Canada. Ethics and morals have no value in Canada anymore either.
Can you imagine American women being handcuffed to chairs, for asking for the democracy in the U.S. to be brought back?
However, Harper is no better. His despicable behavior at the summit. Permitting police violence on amputee's and women.
The video points out one of the worst aspects of the "democratic" process in the US: The fact that the two major parties have been able to exclude any other voices from what is loosely referred to as a "debate."
Unfortunately, these sham performances are - for many voters - the main basis for forming their decision.
I am wowed by that video .. thank you for the link/heads up..
Those two women leave me in awe. Dignity, courage, grace... Props to the cops too.. campus security... I thought they showed restraint and courage... and clear respect to the two lovely women.
The cop that oversaw them being lifted to their feet and ensured the flag was not dropped.. special props.. There were no bad guys in this docuvideo.. there were many good guys.. good girls
Two very special and exemplary women. seizing the moment ..... brilliantly ..
