9/11 . . .

TEN YEARS ON, AND HERE WE ARE. It's a different world, with a different future. And what will that be? My opinion, my guess, is that, 300 years from now, historians will say that 9/11's prime importance was that the resultant fixation on internal security delayed the advent of the Second American Revolution by some 75 years. I hope I am wrong, that Revolt in 2100 will become reality — a lot sooner.

  1. I just hope the media and public space orgy of remembrance, back-patting and wallowing in grief over the unwarrented, senseless murder of 2,800 people by a small group of evil assholes will be repeated in 2013 to remember the senseless, unwarranted murder of more than 100,000 civilians in the invasion and on-going occupation of Iraq, at the command of a group of evil assholes

  3. Rev — not a chance. Those poor Iraqis will become the anonymous victims of history, just like the millions who died in Stalin's starvation of the Ukraine, or the poor Armenians at the hands of Kemal and the gang.

Then again, as you know, poor Iraq has a history of this — just ask the Mongols. They murdered everybody — and called the silence peace.

  4. If Rommney becomes President, the wheels are in motion for 2100. IMHO it was a Mormon warring.
