After senior RCMP complained about the leadership style of Harper-appointed Commish William Elliott - allegedly that he is an arrogant ass slow to introduce reform - Steve appointed former CSIS director Reid Morden to look into things.
The optics of that inquiry so far, via Senator Colin Kenny :
1) Morden will be holding his hearings three offices away from Elliott's office.
2) The invitations to testify before Mr. Morden are coming out of Mr. Elliott's office.
