Blog roll stuff

Yes.... the blogroll is all messed up. It should be in alphabetical order... or something like that.

I am looking on the bright side of things at the moment: The blog roll manager is actually doing something. That's new... at least since the past few months.

I will correct the problem in due course. (Which I am assuming involves chasing sock gremlins back to the dryer.) In the meantime however, I have other things to do which involve wheels, electric motors and belts and dirt.

Patience.

UPDATE: Well, it seems problem "one" is dealt with. The blogroll now appears in it's original alphabetical order. There is another problem, however, that is much more serious. If you use the blogroll, (and that IS the whole intention of the thing), you get a Blog Rolling advertising frame when the new site comes up. If you don't have an active ad blocker, the only way to get rid of it is to click on the "Remove Ad" box in the upper right-hand corner.

Blog Rolling claims that those of us with accounts will be given the option of taking those "follow me" ad frames out. Yeah... and then if one reads further into things they want, ahem!, some money to do that.

There is a policy here. We make no money, we ask for nothing (in fact we have no avenue by which to receive funds) and we use free-stuff to make things work.

That means Blog Rolling, the free version, which we use as a blogroll manager, may soon become toast.
