Who Is This Guy?

If you watch this video of the Canadian Youth Delegation being informed that John Baird has left the meeting and won't be speaking to them you'll see Baird at the back of the room briefly whispering sweet nothings into the pearl shaped ear of this guy moments before Big Bad John slinks from the room like the football captain caught blowing the coach.


Don't you just adore that self-satisfied smirk?

But who is he? Baird's date for the event? An aide? Stephen Harper's android telephony update? Could he be one the industry execs that went with Baird?

Anyone in and around Ottawa got any ideas?
