Can Canada Survive Harper's Governing Style?

On February 23 of this year I posted this about Stephen Harper's instinct toward divisivness.

Today this instinct manifests in it's most explicit form yet.

But it is instructive.

Harper appears to conceive of Canada's levels of government as though they were rival corporations scrapping over a patent.

There are no indications that this is going to end well. Nova Scotia may well sue and be joined by Newfoundland (and maybe even the other Maritime provinces once papers start flying). Saskatchewan may seek amicus curiae status. Manitoba could too.

What a sad day for the country.

Damn Stephen Harper and all his minions.
