One can't help but wonder if the latest tracking polls wouldn't look considerably different if the Canadian public had been handed one particular head on a platter over the sponsorship scandal. There were hints of dirty dealing for over a decade by the former prime minister, yet he evaded it all.
Too bad the teflon didn't wear off Jean Chretien much earlier.
