I just heard Madonna's interpretation of John Lennon's IMAGINE done as a tribute to the songwriter. STOP! Needless to say, the Material Girl totally botched the entire thing. One would have thought music producers had learned their lesson after she screwed over American Pie.
To CBC: Shame on you for playing it.
To John Lennon, (if you're out there somewhere): She did it for the money.
