Geez, I disappear for a few days, Alberta elects a Dipper majority and Dana returns to blogging at the Beaver. I need to go away more often.

It was such a wonderful moment when they announced Notley had won. Poor Steve, must be in a bunker, having more make up applied.
Of course Notley is smart and as an e.g., she hired Gerry Scott to run her campaign. That certainly didn't hurt. He's from B.C. Had Dix used him in the last election, the NDP might be in office today instead of the leiberals.
For those who have forgotten who Gerry Scott is, he's a nice B.C. boy, o.k. old man now and he ran Harcourt's campaign when he ran for mayor, NDP leadership, and Premier. He won all of it. Good on Notley and THE Alberta NDP and Gerry Scott. He still has it!
