May?

I bet they've already inked the approval stamp.

Northern Gateway is before a Joint Review Panel (JRP) of the National Energy Board and the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. Under the new rules, a review panel would have to be finished within 24 months, which could mean the Northern Gateway review would have to wrap up in May of this year — a full year-and-a-half before it was scheduled to end.
I don't know if they grasp just how much anger this is generating. Countrywide.

Wicked things be stirring in the woods and waters.

I see via Jymn that they have now removed all the National Energy Board's teeth

stripping away veto powers and saying that the government will now make decisions in the national interest.

I wonder how soon we will have to start chaining ourselves to bulldozers up there?
