Grope and Flail:
Accommodations for the RCMP, who sent nearly 20,000 officers to the two summits, topped $65-million, including big bills from nearly every major hotel in Toronto.
But most of the accommodation cost, $57-million, went to a massive trailer camp in Muskoka – a cost of $700 per room per night, according to RCMP officials. The lack of available hotel rooms near the Deerhurst summit left no other option, RCMP officials said.

How much would it have cost to borrow some of these from the Canadian Forces? Or would that have been too austere for some of our riot-armoured ultra-cops?

The RCMP don't do tents. It's just a thing with them.

I'd like to know who owns the trailer park and what percentage of that $700 per site per night is going back to the CPC in the form of donations.

I join the Rev. Paperboy's comment.

One of the most consistent problems in Government is how to launder Government money for the benefit of your friends and supporters.

Only thing I would add to the Rev Paperboy's comment is the question of how much the proprietor usually gets for one of these trailers.
